Hahaha we call it in Denmark don’t eat the yellow snow… I’m very sure they say in Iceland too… at the end it s somehow Danmarks :)))
Pretty good advice, by the way. If the color is off then don’t eat it.
It’s not like with mushrooms. All mushrooms are edible, but some are only once
Anyway, all that yellow is not the greatest choice. And that is a bit worrying. The artwork of EvE has always been a strongholder.
Yes that’s also worrying me… the image on the launcer … there is these ships… I think they wanted it looks like shining exploding but tone is wrong …
As a font color yellow one of most difficult one to read on white but on gray and black should be used very very carefully… else can easily become irritating… different people may have different lvl of tolerance … but there is some calculations around it… I’m not really sure they did their homework so good around that lol I do play this game over a decade first time design and interface colors irritated me and reason is obviously wrong and off… internet full of sources to explain proof that …
Well, at least you said one good thing.
Daaang, guy!
If yellow make people aggressive and confrontational, I guess we want more yellow in EVE. After all this game is about violence and aggression.
Argue that with a marketing strategist please… they know what colours inhibits or induces the parameters they would like to manipulate…
Im sory but the guy who open this forum post… didn’t open the subject from point of kido sayings lvl…
By all means, keep arguing. The psychology of color. The cultural differences in color tastes. Whether or not a marketing guy has the final say in every published piece of artwork produced by the team…
What’s tasteless for one part of the globe is not necessarily true for another part, the psychology or response may even be quite different. Given that this game attracts people from all sorts of cultures, there is no right and wrong in color choices, right ? There is no one choice that fits all, as any marketing / advertizing strategist working on global level will explain.
