One more reason for me to take my sweet time in joining any corporation.
Some also told me in this forum that I don’t have to be in a corp. to fleet with players, learn and have fun.
This is not the first MMO I play, I know how some guys are. I was insulted to be a “slut” and much worse for beating a player who was friend with a teamate in Skyrim Online. He wasn’t even banned but oh well. I hope he didn’t have a g/f, poor girl.
Oh yes, some people are uncureable and simply rude for being raised unproperly.
I don’t mind about guys sharing fantasies. I have some pretty wild ones myself. But sharing them? No way ever!
You’re certainly right about decisions taken in EVE vs those we take irl. There’s no comparison.
I was referring to joining a corporation or spending hundreds of € for PLEX or Skins or even stuffing a hauler with hundreds of millions of isk and jumping 20 gates…
When I look at capsuleers’ info and see that belonged to 30 corporations, I have to wonder what happened. Are they trustworthy? Are they bad players/losers?
I see that as an applicant to a company who has 30 different companies in their resumé. Why did they jump around so much and how many times were they fired…?
When I undock I know there’s 60% chance I’ll lose the ship and everything in it. If I get so afraid to lose it that it becomes a handicap then I might as well not play EVE.
Good thing we don’t lose SP and/or isk when the clone dies like it used to be.
Good thing we don’t have to pay the 100,000 for each new instance of clone-parking in clone bay.
It doesn’t tell much. Some Faction Warfare players just hop in/out over the weekend. Corps may be short lived, change, so people move on. Also people used to switch corps to ditch wardecs before wardec immune corps were a thing. Some of course are kicked often for being somewhow anti-social.
There are also communities in EvE existing outside classic corp structures.
just be carefull when you join fleets with people you dont know… there is NPSI organisations like Spectre and Redemption Road… . I would especially suggest the redemption road and try to join one of Greygal’s newbro roam… i can invite you to their channel later on ingame …
Also if you aim to go for PVP… i suggest you to join corporation… you learn faster and you fly with people who help you and you can count on …
I realize that also. So many questions without answers tho.
One thing I don’t understand is that we can see some info about a capsuleer but not other info like their Activity Tracker info or their Home System ( where they have their main clone parked ) or whether they are Alpha/Omega or what skill they have under their belt.
There could be specific reasons why but it leaves me wondering.
I’d like to explore those as well. And I may choose a corporation according to their alliance.
i think he mean NPSI groups which i link you two of them… you can also try bombers bar later on … these are not corporations…
EVE s totally out of book unique corp and war content is RVB .
Also choosing corp according to their aliance another question… there is many corporations in eve that they dont choose to go for aliance… due to keep their integrity and freedom of decision and not to loose it different degrees… there is many knit tight beuatifull small and big corps in eve online

I’ve watched every SpaceX test live since the Hopper’s first hop and unless there’s a fire in my house I’ll be watching them live beyond the first liftoff to Mars.
No bad mean people, just in-game enemies. Intel gathering to interdict enemy travel is meant to take effort; scraping data from a pilot’s info page would be too easy given the value of the data. If you know where a player will respawn when podded, you don’t have to pay a locator agent to track them down again after the first kill - you just keep someone in their respawn system.

I saw a video just yesterday about how FB, YT, Twitter and Google can track our every connections online - even without having an account with either of them - with the help of snooping programs and unique Device Identifiers. Talk about Online Privacy Reminds me of that Rockwell song “Somebody’s Watching me” lol.
