Are you arguing that a properly fit machariel cannot perpetually bump a freighter out of warp? Potentially keeping that freighter tackled for hours? What is the practical difference between this, and activating a tackle mod, aside from the fact that the aggressor doesn’t get any kind of flag and therefore benefits from Concord tank?

There is always the logoff trick, and DT also interferes with bumping.

Bumping does not interrupt warp like a tackle module does, it simply messes with the ships alignment. This means you can warp at any time in the direction you are getting bumped. It is possible to try to use that with an interceptor alt to escape a bump or by simply being lucky and getting bumped in the direction of a warpable celestial.

Correct, nobody can keep you perpetually bumped. If you can’t figure out how to keep your freighter safe, then you aren’t qualified to fly a freighter.

I do feel good about killing the jf traffic. Seeing all the tears getting linked from huge nullsec alliance logi wings crying that they can’t haul when I’m online was hilarious. The normal freighter traffic is mostly caused from how dead the game is.
