I often come across people sitting there bumping in Niarja and who do not have a gank fleet behind them. But then again Racknar is based there.
Except when people do it as a group activity like they did in the past, there are cycles in the game, people stop new ones come along, that you lot cornered the freighter ganking with massed alt accounts is part of the reason why others did not start doing it.

You have to time the loot scooping, you do a lot of pre-positioning and the like and of course you have to be ready to try to counter the loot scooper. I am glad to see people doing it, and you seem to be upset about it. Does that mean you are giving up because of it?
There are a number of people doing it now, and this is why your timing and ability to bump gives you an advantage in scooping loot. However while you may want to go down this path based on your lag because you have to multi-box due to your desire to take all the loot to pay for your massed accounts this is a detail of freighter ganking as a whole and wholly based on the fact that you are a solo player multi-boxing.
My issue with bumping starts at the base that it is consequence free aggression in hisec, followed by the fact that it can happen for hours and allows you to control the location of the gank and the time of the gank so all your pieces are fully in place enabling you to multi-box efficiently. The fact that you can multi-box this at all is wrong and I wish to make this so more players get involved which is more likely to happen without bumping.
Let’s say that bumping like this ends, and you three guys give up because your “I win” button has gone, people will start to auto pilot and put too much stuff in and then groups will go and gank them because they can. So I don’t give a rats ass about you three multi-boxers.
The fact is that bumping as in a solo player run Macherial for ransom cannot be countered by a freighter and he just has to sit and wait it out is rather poor gameplay. Now that you three are giving up people will just log because that is the easiest way to get away. So hurry up and give up because of loot scoopers.

I would define what you are doing as game breaking multi-boxing, multiple accounts are what you need to play this game and a minimum is two accounts imo.
Loot scoopers, lag and boredom got you at last, great stuff.
So to deal with a solo naff mechanic bumper I have to have multiple accounts, does not sound like rock paper scissors to me…
