GPU Driven Pipeline/Carbon Update - Known Issues

You have to remember that this is common to neurotypicals. It’s easy to put their situation first, and assigning such familiarity is how they function. We can’t all be Mr. Spock (autistic) LOL For example, I knew from the beginning of it being mentioned that it had nothing to do with T3Cs. How? Because I and others have the issue and never go near strategic cruisers! I’m a hard core miner and this is common to those as well. I additionally saw a forum post somewhere about removing certain windows security features helped some. It didnt help me, but it is also something to try. I believe they have noticed improvement from disabling Control Flow Guard for the eve client file. I don’t recommend it unless one is very careful, but it SEEMS to have been helpful to some.

That being said, it isn’t good to exclude someone just for this reason (acting neurotypically) alone. (Otherwise HOW would we ever be able to tolerate them BUAHAHAHA) Everyone can contribute to the problem/solution in some way

Not sure if this will help, about to install it. But today there is a Windows Update cumulative and in the details for it, normal rollout, I am reading: [Graphics kernel] Fixed: An issue where some game titles become unresponsive after upgrading to 24H2. Also a crap ton under normal rollout, but I digress. Do with it as you will.

I keep checking in hoping to see it is fixed

I’ll use chatgpt to fix my mistakes since im in a hurry right now:

I resumed playing yesterday after a one-week break and noticed a significant overall improvement in performance. However, some issues persist. Specifically, several clients crashed after docking at a Fortizar in low-security space—similar to the crashes I experience when docking at Jita 4-4. Additionally, I encountered client freezes when warping to a Supply Depot in Faction Warfare. As a result, I lost three Talwars (as recorded on zKillboard), as the clients froze and failed to initiate warp, even from a wing commander’s order, which is particularly unusual.

While the game now runs more smoothly overall, there are still noticeable delays and performance drops during the first few minutes after undocking in systems with a high number of player-owned structures.

I appreciate the progress CCP has made and believe they are on the right track, but it’s clear that some underlying issues still need to be addressed.
