Thanks for reminding me. No weird/bizarre graphic anomalies when I view the map on my MacMini M4 (scrolling around, zooming in/out, etc.)
try to set Shader Quality to Low
Today when I opened the Eve launcher it popped up a âprove you are a humanâ message. The launcher would not let me do anything until I completed it ⌠but the problem is it kept repeating it click on all the busses, click on all the stairs, click on motorcycles, click on traffic lights, click on crossings, click on busses again, etc etc⌠I stopped counting after 12 times. Lost count of how many I eventually had to complete before I could get back to the launcher.
I would like someone at CCP to explain to me why I have to sit here for nearly 10 minutes clicking on stupid picture tiles before I can get into the Eve launcher? And yes I am on a paid subscription⌠but starting to doubt whether a subscription is actually worth it lately.
I donât think this has anything to do with the GPU/âEVE Evolvedâ update.
Ok then explain to me why it happened after I downloaded the patch for the GPU pipeline?
I know it is not part of the graphics problems caused by GP pipeline itself - obviously. But it was caused by the same patch that introduced it.
I canât - I honestly have no idea (I donât know the criteria for if/when it prompts you to âprove youâre a humanâ). But considering that I did a clean install and re-established all my accounts on a new Mac this week and havenât been similarly prompted - I think itâs probably something on your end.
Nothing has been changed on my system, except for Eve patching itself. If it is something on my end, then it was the Eve patch that broke it. None of my other apps/games/software is asking for it - just Eve.
I am not irritated by the âprove you are humanâ message in itself. I donât mind if their launcher periodically âneedsâ (hah, what a joke) to prove that I am human - that is fine. WHAT I am irritated about is that it kept looping around, and around over and over and over. I have never seen anything, nor any website on the internet, ever ask for SO MANY different âprovesâ.
Yâknow what would be really crap?
If I had prepaid Omega like 18 months into the future.
checks notes
f***âŚ
Guess they have 18 months to fix it.
(donât feel bad; itâs more than 24 months for meâŚ)
You can ask support to pause your Omega status if you actually want to play as Omega instead of just training as Omega.
The RAM is kinda crazy right now, when on space it goes up to 3.5gb per client, then I dock and it goes to 1.1gb per client. This happened at the system Siseide which is a system that has barely nothing, however it had +20 plexes to be run
I hope you know what you are doing and are not alone there. Intel posted in the forums finds its use.
macOS user here and still unable to use upscaling. FPS down from solid 60 to 45ish.
Please fix the upscaling.
Thank you.
Thanks for this. I didnât realize the two were related. It does appear for now, that low shader setting produces the nonsense map weâve seen.
The low shading setting is the only setting that disables volumetrics (Iâve asked a few times for a separate toggle for volumetrics as this has a huge performance hit on older graphics cards).
I have DirectX 11, cant have option to 12 but anyway game crash every i try dock in keepstar or anything in null sec and i have all my things in null sec but thanks
When using the Medium Shader, Antialiasing is reverted back to Disabled whenever the client is restarted.
Is this a feature or a glitch?
I am seeing 6gb+ Memory usage, 100% CPU Usage, and the game is even putting up boxes telling me that itâs been 5+ Mins waiting for data from the server. âonlyâ a i7-9700k and RTX2060 - But honestly this shouldnât be a struggle.
Moved back to DX11⌠Itâs odd too, Most of the time itâs smooth, and ram can sit around 900 meg a client, but when it spikes it goes bad fast - and stays there.
They need to revert this update; itâs not ready for release.
