Heavy stuttering/lag at Forsaken Hubs

Since the new expansion, they have made the ratting sites look different - much better! But, after doing 1 or maximum 2 sites, the next Forsaken Hub I warp into the game basically becomes a photo slideshow with heavy stuttering. It lags so bad that I can barely warp out. As soon as I leave the anomaly, the game is back to being lag-free.

I have tried changing from directX12 to 11 and the game runs generally better, but the lag after doing 1-2 forsaken hubs is unbearable. The only thing I can do is to restart the game and start over.

Anyone else experiencing the same issues? How did you fix it? (going from high settings to potato-mode is not desirable, because I know my PC can/should handle it and it hasn’t been any issues pre-Revenant)

I changed the shader settings to medium (which made the game look considerably worse, especially in stations) helped a little bit - I can now run the forsaken hub 3 times, the 4th time it’s back to being laggy (but not completely frozen) and when zoomed in almost all the way to the ship.

Going full potato mode solves the problem, but you shouldn’t have to play the game in potato (low settings) mode. This needs to be fixed ASAP. This issue seems only be happening in forsaken hubs and havens.

It’s the new volumetrics - it’s effected everything. We really need an option to turn this off without having to revert to “potato mode”.

I guess we’ll have to do the hubs and havens in potato mode until. I do hope CCP prioritizes this as this is a big issue for many EVE players.

It wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of players have reduced their in-game commitment as a direct result of these changes.
