Yeah, but not everyone undocking is at war with that pilot. Bring a neutral alt and undock both at the same time to watch the fireworks.
Now youâre placing the burden of fighting on the location where I am which doesnât mean that there is other pilots undocking.
Who says theyâre positioned to hit the station? If I use an instant warp bookmark to leave the station they can just fire up the smartbombs and blow up my ship in transit. If not they can still sit and target the ship and blow it up.

Evading a station camp to get out of a system is simple.
Oh, and FYI, undocking to shoot at 30 enemies while solo isnât brave, itâs stupid. Thereâs also a big difference between not undocking with 30 wartargets in system and not undocking because there might be a wartarget somewhere in New Eden.
If there is enough players to instalock volley blap your ship you are commanding people to DIE.

An insta undock can be a book mark you have in space. It can be any distance away from the station as long as its over 150km from you when you warp there. Itâs not visible to anyone else. No one is going to smartbomb you in the middle of a warp tunnel. Anyone who tries to smart bomb you during a dec, just get an alt or friend to sit next to them all the time. Or pay a stranger.
Trust me. Smartbombs are only good for ganking in hisec. Wardeccers arenât going to last very long if they use smartbombs.

Sure⌠weâll put 30 players with a variety of weapons from smart bombs to insta-lock scramble/tank ships along with neutral supporters which you wonât be able to attack without invoking concord. Then you can preform your âuber leet solo master blows up everything around themâ within the current war restrictions of course.

I didnât say fight. You said you couldnât undock. Which you can. Without fear of insta lock ships or smart bombs.
Even if they leave the market hubs (which they likely wont) AND even if they bring that much hardware for one person (which they definitely wont) AND they donât get jumped by a another gang in their war whilst in such crappy fits (which can happen). You can still give them the slip indefinitely, waste their time and run your business where they are not.

Wardecs are also not effective enough to make me fight them as a defender. In addition Iâm not docked while iâm typing this. Just not on this character. A way I have made war ineffective against me. A MUCH simpler method to continue to enjoy eve online while giant waggling happens from people who wish to wage war but then donât actually need to because they have no responsibility to do such.
So why are you whining? Aside from making sacrifices that were probably not necessary.

Alright then lets go thru the process.
In order to enjoy the game I do not require a corporation (or a subscription but lets leave that entirely on the side burner.)
Thus to minimize the chances of losing a ship I have:
1: Docked up where I can do what I want.
2: Set market orders to acquire what I want to do what I want.
3: Made alts to fly around with in ships I can replace for them.
4: Made profit by selling ships I donât need.
5: Enjoyed watching people who think war decs donât need to change while using the current war dec mechanics to completely neuter wars ability to have any effect on me, my alts, and my production.

War is a necessary part of eve. But i still want it to change. Most people do.
But that doesnât have anything to do with your assumption you cannot dock without instantly dieing. Many people, including myself, mission and mine during decs. Many people dont even see their aggressors during a dec. Not even in local.
It also has nothing to do with the comparison of eve to other MMOâs.
No. I gave you a scenario a defender can be hit by and your decision is that you have a way to win in such a scenario. I already have a win scenario. It doesnât give these non-existent attackers the ability to attack and lets me continue to enjoy the game.
I also agree that defenders have zero reason to fight any war under current mechanics. So by using current mechanics I have made war into fluffy bunny poops.
