so basically the question is do any rigs affect the “new” components for ships like the life support backup units, core temperature regulators and all the other new stuff?
They are in the components category with the t2 components, but are they affected by the same ME or TE rigs?
rigs affect groups of items. life support are in “construction component blueprints” group
so the effect of rigs should be the same as for other blueprints of that group.
Core temperature regulator is in the same group BTW.
That being said, it’s safer to try on structure with the rig already in place, just in case …
found this old thread about this. seems like the advanced component rig works with this group.
