That was not very hard to accomplish.
I see you donāt like his wordsalad post.
I was a Battlestar Galactica Online player. I had a friend in a clan who, as the game started to slowly die, offered to play EVE Online together (he offered to pay 1 PLEX per month so we could learn the game at all, so that more or less gives you an idea of how long ago it was) or Star Trek Online. I didnāt take up the offer, but I did learn about the existence of a game like EVE Online.
When it became obvious that BSGO was dying, I decided to try EVE Online, as an Alpha. And so I tried it for a year, in the meantime BSGO actually died. So I stayed in the New Eden universe and look here when I feel like playing an MMO.
Lol nope.
Sometimes posts can get so ridiculous that they even look out of place on the EVE forums, and thatās saying something
What for do you need to ask too call me to this post?
I had expressed my view on the topic already and made it clear within my reply!
His reaction to your post was funny so Iāve pointed it out so you donāt miss it. Sharing fun experiences is the bread and butter of EVE social life.
ISD, what are we down to for regular ppl who post? 10? Last time I asked, it was apx 50.
Does this mean only like 50 people post on the forums?
And what does regular mean in this context: does it refer to how often they visit and post or is it an indication of their rarity or quality or something?
Ppl with a vet tag such as yourself would be a good starting point. There used to be many more. But also, ppl who post regularly.
I am thinking that Uriel earned that status through being very helpful over the years.
Iām not sure about that but thatās kind of you to say.
The āVeteranā tag has nothing to do with EvE but rather with the discourse forum software. It is simply a trust level that is earned by reading the forums a lot of an extended period, occasionally posting, and getting/receiving likes. You also cannot have more than 5 flagged posts over a certain period of time.
I have set the forum record for most flagged posts.
I can believe it. You should get your own special title.
Iāve assumed heās aware and was just posting it as a joke as almost all (if not all) of his posts are some amount of roleplay and joke, though you canāt be 100% sure so who knows.
Social media didnāt exist in the early 2000s. And I donāt think Iāve ever had a RL friend who played EVE Online. So it has to be āsomething elseā.
Not a joke, I was being honest with my judgement about that title because that title should not be given out to anyone other than those who earned it.
The glare of the sun comment above was also an honest judgement and not a joke.
*Glares at @Sarah_Olson for questioning my judgement!
I havenāt been in HS all my EVE career,
I think everyone could at least knock off that one Zkillboard trophy āGet a ship kill in HSā
