Kind of thought that was the only thing you did, I always used to see you answering questions when I first got started in the game. Wish I could still be as helpful and productive.
Yes. I know this is off topic, but Cryptic Studios made some awful MMOs and I played them all. Neverwinter D&D showed some promise, but then they removed a lot of the game content. All the while telling the players, they can do more with less. Recently they added “Spelljammers” and I took a look at a video on YouTube. Spelljammers is basic D&D spaceships powered by magic. However the game play showed me there was no such thing, they used the same stale dungeon to make another hub/store. Also I don’t see any difference between visiting an alien planet and being in one of the Undermountain dungeons. That hot mess is a Gear Box problem now. Long story short, I held a big party, I gave away my stuff, and left their games.
Glad to be of service.
I am in Lowsec.
Any other suggestions?
I’ve got one for you: Why download a PvP game when all you want is PvE?
Aaah finally the weekly nerf ganking thread. I had nothing to read for a while…
That is not exactly correct.
First of all, most ganks uses multiple catalysts or other ships like coercers (catalysts are out of meta for a while btw). So the risk is the whole fleet. I’ve seen failed DST ganks in Sivala that costed the gankers 300-500 mil to attempt. But of course if you are solo ganking ventures with t2 catalyst then you are right, those 10mil can probably afford everyone.
Second, if the ganker ganks for profit, but even if not, he has to transport loot or fits to Jita/his HQ. Sure some of us are using 3rd party services, but I haul my loot myself for example and I am as much a target for other gankers as anyone else. Yet I never got ganked.
Not getting ganked takes almost no (brain) effort. It’s astounding how it seems to be such an issue for some people.
I find joy in quoting Aiko on an internet forum.
Yes. In each of your examples, both you and your opponent AGREE to those specific terms.
Go back a few decades and look at CCP’s advertising.
You can be ANYTHING you want to be. Like, a miner or an industrialist.
We wouldn’t be having this discussion if the world weren’t filled with malingerers.
*Fight people that want to fight. Only cowards fight people who are unable or unwilling.
All that being said, if you’re at war with someone or some entity, I % condone doing whatever is necessary to stop them in their tracks.
However, you can’t use the excuse that every ship that undocks MIGHT be an instrument of war.
If you’re at war with (or even just dislike) Goonswarm, take your happy little ship, fly out to Delve, and start shooting.
Walmart is NOT the place to wage war!
Uh uh…as far back as Shakespeare a rose is a rose by any other name. It is only dishonest people who feel the need to argue over the ‘meaning’ of words or to gaslight over whether people have ‘agreed’ to a game structure that has been part of the game since day 1.
I’m dishonest, but gankers are great people. Got it.
Online shopping is the way to go. You’ll NEVER catch me at Wal-Mart on Black Friday.
To the OP:
How do you suffer? You downloaded and installed a PvP game and made yourself a character in that world. The trailer and every bit of information about this game tells you that PvP happens. Even the introduction and Tutorial told you that PvP happens.
You know that going in. Everyone knows that going in. Why are you making posts about suffering? You were given infinite clones so that you can survive infinite deaths. Ships are placed on the market board daily so that you can replace your exploded ships.
Where is the suffering? I’m a miner too, but I don’t complain about the PvP. I look forward to it. I have had a lot of fun taunting the gankers on this forum. If you don’t take them seriously, you realize that they’re just here to play the game and have fun too. I haven’t found any of them to be hateful people. They’re really nice.
I came into this game with the decision to play the criminal they insist that all of us miners are. Smuggling goods out of the asteroid fields and setting them up for transport to the stations as contraband. I take precautions to avoid detection and so far I haven’t been ganked once.
That’s how you have fun as a miner. If you get caught, learn from it, hop into another ship, and try again!
…and only a fool thinks they are safe and is unwilling and unprepared to protect what they have.
I don’t shop online and never been to Walmart but if I want a steak I don’t buy a turkey.
If it’s PvE you seek I can recommend No Man’s Sky. Good relaxing game and you won’t have to worry about Ganking.
To be fair the prices to build fluctuate, Jita isn’t exactly as cost effective as the other assembly plants. I think it’s a trade off for not waiting around for material or having to risk transporting materials out to the .06 systems.
I myself just have my friends meet up in Jita and shoot them like 20-25 in trade. My newb self can’t issue more then 1 contract.
But seeing as how I’m answering your questions, I’m curious how many catalysts you donate? I just want to have an idea of what big boy numbers look like. @Felix_Frostpacker
Speaking of which @Aiko_Danuja 200 catalysts are ready in Jita for pick up whenever you have the time.
I am guesssing she come from WoW. They used to have PvP servers, ganking was fun. It was even funnier when they logged out and brought their high level toon to get revenge on little old me.
But, they cried and cried until the pvp servers were taken away and world PvP was not possible unless they activated a flag. It was beyond stupid having the enemy faction mining right infront of you and nothing you could do.
Guys I’m big mad
I found out there’s pvp in my pvp game!
Oh yes you do sweetie.
No, records show you have the wrong pilot fang.
