How Hard is DED 5/10 Gurista Hallucinogen Supply?

Just got a DED 5/10 Gurista Hallucinogen Supply, how hard is it?
I’m running a Vexor Navy Issue (fit bellow) and I would be running with a buddy that has a Caracal is it even possible or its going to be too hard?
[Edit: Can you kitte this if we change for a fastest fit and try to kept enemys at distance and if not (last room would be a problem I know), would It be better if one flyes a logistic cruiser to help repair?]

On a scale from 1 to 10… I’d say 5. I solo 5/10s with a Cerberus. Think your 2 ships will be too weak for that site.

I can do it with a Gila solo. I’m assuming the last room has web towers like the other 5/10’s and those will give you the most trouble. Plan on being able to either headshot the overseer or be able to take down the towers. Anyway the experience will be good for you :slightly_smiling_face:

You could search for the name of the site with your favorite search engine.
There are sites that have the particular spawns and requirements well documented.
If you want all the experience - which you might look back and laugh at some day, then don’t look it up. Maybe you can proove people wrong and post the outcome here later. Either way, if I was you I would try it.

The experience may not be good for your ship however

Asking how hard a DeD site is, is a worthless venture because it depends on so many things.
Example my mission character can solo every level 3 mission in the game using an assault frigate, that character has corp mates that cannot run many of those level 3 missions even if they are flying a battle cruiser. More than 100 million skill points, years of playing this game and a ship fully fit with faction and deadspace modules being the biggest factors here.

Based on the fit posted and your friend having an equivalent fit for their Caracal I would think you are going to face a significant challenge to your abilities and team work will be a major component of being able to complete this one, see link below. More than 20 frigates, 6 - 10 cruisers, 4 - 6 battle cruisers and several battleships wait you in the first room alone. As you progress through you will have to deal with many more ships of all sizes, sentry guns and stasis towers. I believe you can do this but it will be difficult and ship losses are a significant risk to consider.

My best advice if you do try is do not push it, when (note I said when not if), when either of you is low on shields / armor or capacitor BOTH of you need to warp out at the same time because solo in these fits you are literally a sitting duck waiting to be killed. If you try this good luck.

And what if we try to kept our distance and/or use a logistic cruiser to help the other tank better?

Your logi may get targeted, NPC’s hate ewar and remote reps almost as much as they hate drones.

You cannot keep enough distance with your fit to be of any real help in minimizing incoming DPS.

Launching drones from far enough out to protect your ship will result in you losing most if not all of your drones and your friend will still have to get in close so he can hit targets with his weapons.

AB may be nice but you are not going to be fast enough to out run all the Frigates and destroyers in the pockets and there are enough of them to take out you and your friend.

Logi would help but to be honest if you have other characters then put them in combat ships instead.
four characters working as two teams of two ships would be my idea here. While one team is out of the pocket docked up to recharge cap, shields and repairing any damage the other team is in the pocket fighting. This makes it easier to handle, but you can always try all 4 ships in the pocket at once if you can handle them.

If I was in your place I would simply plan to warp in as a team, concentrate all of your fire from both of your ships on one single NPC when it pops move on to the next. When the shields(Caracal) or armor(VNI) are nearly gone or capacitor on either ship is nearly empty then both of you warp out. Repair damage, allow cap / shields to recharge and then warp back in. As they say wash, rinse and repeat until it is cleared out. This is the process I have to use on several of those level 3 missions when running them in the assault frigate.

Start with the smaller stuff like the frigates and destroyers since they represent the biggest threat to both of you. Yes the guns on the bigger ships could do more damage but your speed will help you to avoid a lot of that incoming fire.

When you get to the pocket with the stasis towers they may represent your biggest challenge and the biggest risk to ship loss. They will be out of range of your weapons at the start yet they will have the range to slow you down to the point where you are easy targets for everything in the pocket to hit you. Because of this those stasis towers are primary targets if / when you can get to them

Having a veteran player in a level 4 capable ship to help you would be a really good idea. When you run into something like those stasis towers that are serious problems for you they could go in and remove those few serious problems and allow you to complete the rest.

In the end this is a game, half of the fun is trying things to see if you can make them work. Ships can be replaced easily and who knows you may find a way to defeat this thing.
