How to cap FPS to 60 on Macbook Pro?

I upgraded to a MacBook Pro M4 with a 120 FPS screen. However I don’t want to play in 120hz, but prefer something less taxing like 60hz so I can run prettier graphics and still have a cool/silent computer. Can I do that in the EVE client somehow?

Only way I found so far is to change the setting globally in the screen menu in MacOS, but it sucks having to change it back and forth every time you want to play.

This might help: Under the settings in EVE, under Display & Graphics - you can toggle the V-Sync on (this locks the FPS to the monitors refresh rate). You’d probably still have to toggle it globally in MacOS, though.

V-sync simply caps the framerate at the displays maximum FPS. 120hz max is better than no maximum, but I would really like to play at 60hz (or 45). So, so far I still have to toggle it globally

So many other games have an FPS-max slider, please add one CCP!

I think you’re going to be relegated to toggling it globally, unfortunately.
