How to fix combat interceptors

True, but thatā€™s one of the drawbacks to overpropping. If it was a straight up speed increase that could work, but i thought that would be too strong for intys considering how fast they go already

without having a fit to look up and play with i cant really comment from the correct pov but from what i can think of i dont think it would be all that useful or more to the point wouldnt simply be used to buff other areas of the ship instead.

Iā€™m a big fan of ships having ā€œone special abilityā€ so long as it does not go overboard and every ship has one. That can become tedious.
Logically the combat ceptor is not going to get any buff to replace its lost bubble immunity. But also consider that the bubble-immune ceptor is just a ā€œcapture shipā€ to get you into the fight. A combat ceptor keeps you there from having more staying power. It seems to fit.

Ive mostly been using mine for cover for other [fleet] ceptors in fleet and for solo stuff, playing around with gangs and slingshotting tackle etc. As well as an additional scout.

Without the nullification i cant really think of a good way to use them.

Oh and many ships have that one good thing they are good at, almost all of them in fact. Its what seperates them and makes the game so varied and interesting - though it is less so now.

Would you guys think combat inties would be OP if they did 350 DPS hot within 5km with their current tanks? One damage mod. Could make the bonus only for blasters AC and Pulse.

having it do more dps or have more tank wouldnt balance it. tbh its a bit of a beastā€¦ but you can do the same with a comet.

Thatā€™s a tech ii aerator though. I mean with just one damage low. If their thing isnā€™t catching people or tanking then what about making it the high dps tech ii?

its a somewhat specialised fit that needs level 5 skills, if it dosnt have the t2 damage rig then it will also have more tank because youd fit another transverse rig?

Thatā€™s the only way I can see them being worth. Right now AF is better period. And for tackle the tackle inty is better.
