I am new to this fine establishment called EVE Online, and I am interested in this industry function. I have been perusing the “market” in search of Blueprints and I have even purchased 3, with my limited income.
I do not see any functions in this industry menu that would allow me to customize any portion of the space ship called Venture. For example, I believe the bow is where the ore cargo is stored but I do not see any functions that would allow me to perhaps move this cargo space to a different part of the hull. I also would like to move the on-board lights forward and face them slightly different so that they would function as lights of this sort are intended.
Would any of you esteemed internet personas be able or willing to direct me where I could make these changes? Perhaps in the blueprint before manufacture?
These changes are not possible. CCP, the game creators, are the only ones that can do this.
What you can do with Blueprints, is research the materials/time cost of creating ventures, you can also create copies of the BPO, you can invent those copies into the t2 variant of the Venture (Endurance and Prospect) or you can directly make ventures.
This is just a design feature, it has absolutely no effect on gameplay whatsoever. CCP is not going to change the position of the lights or shape of the hull just to humor you. You’re wasting your time.
What you can design is the paintjob of the hull in the Paragon Studio.
PS. You might wanna read up a few guides on EVE Online. Your expectations on what this game is about are very far off from reality.
