I created a little app that displays a guide for all level 3 and level 4 missions that I would like to share with anyone who wants to try it. I’m not sure how can I distribute it to people though.
I’m not really sure if people would want to use it really
I’ve linked some screenshots below
Well it’s kind of a replacement to actually going through the website. I know loads of people will know each mission off by heart, but some people who are a bit newer to running them might use it. It sits as an overlay at topmost level window so you can just scale it and plonk it down in the client and scroll through the mission as you go. I made it just because I could I guess. I thought I may as well share it If I can
Well I just thought with the app, everything could be done all on 1 screen as your playing if you wanted. The overlay just sits there wherever you put it and scaled and customised to how you want it. It would sit nicer on your screen than an ugly browser window sitting there. You can copy the title of the mission into the search and bam it’s ready. It was originally just for me but I thought why not share it.
Like i said the app isn’t going to be suited to everyone. You’re obviously the best Eve player that’s ever played the game so you’re above all this helping people out in your mighty drake that can do anything!
I think it’s a great idea and wonderful gesture. It should be really useful for mission runners limited to a single screen. Since I got a wide screen OLED I’ve been running 3 accounts on the same monitor, I used to have them on separate monitors. Screen real estate is already at a premium with this game and I hate any unnecessary clutter, so I only have the game itself and Eve-O Preview on my UI.
When mission running I have Eve U or Eve survival open on an IPad next to me. I have another IPad next to that for out of game intel, utilities, and discord. Above all that I have a big screen connected to a laptop for general browsing and watching videos while playing. I like having everything in its own line of focus, but that’s just me and I’m probably the odd man out. Even if I never use it, I appreciate the gesture because it helps people that need it the most and that’s good for the community
