I miss them in hisec, too.
And the corpse thing has been nonsense for a long time: I carried a bunch of bodies and roamed hisec looking for autothysians, then followed them, targetted them, and … nothing. Spent a whole weekend doing that, as you do.
It might be more entertaining if they DID target corpse-carriers.
Anyway, bring back drifters as dangerous NPCs to hisec would get my vote - and yes, I got blapped by them within a week of starting my life as a capsuleer.

I agree with bringing back the mechanic, but for now it makes no sense as the Drifters are broken and dealing with their homes having been recently occupied.
How about just leaving HighSec? Jeez its almost a religious dogma at this point for some people to stick to HS and treat all other areas of the game as quasi no-go areas.
There is absolutely zero need to have these things in HS. They were one of those instadeathtraps (among others) that just frustrated new players who had no clue what they would do. Lucky those who found out in just a frig and didn’t lose much. For those who tried them out in their first self-financed Battleship or Marauder they were ridiculously stupid “content”. The content is still there, go seek it.
I live in lowsec.
Then your line of argumentation makes no sense. You can’t “miss” a feature in an area you don’t live in, that you have in the area you do live in. Just go hunt them if you like them.

I am not arguing with you, my argument makes perfect sense - just cos I live in lowsec does not mean I spend my entire time there. I am arguing with you … I’ll shut up, and so should you.

If you aren’t interested in exchanging arguments, why reply in the first place? 
You are of course free to shut up if you like. Telling others to do so is somewhat rude. Especially in a public forum that lives from discussion.
If there were some way of making an official petition of some kind, I’d be all for it. I actually contacted CCP about it, which is why I made this post. I’d love to get even a small mention in the lore of EvE Online as “The Capsuleer that brought the Lancers back to kill newbs.” lol

More like a ‘secret underground consortium of unaffiliated capsuleers whose only common interest was to return the Lancers to HS areas, who succeeded in it, and went their separate ways after that never to hear from each other again’. ←-Because I’m also in there.
