Idea: A way for players to record and create a history of loot they got from various PvE content, like a loot history or something

For example, there can be 200 players running a certain level of Security Mission. All the loot they get will be recorded and uploaded to a website, but with all identifying information removed, just loot.

For example, a record of one persons security mission loot,

{Level 3 security mission - 5 mil ISK loot}
Loot:
{List of loot}

Over time, this will result in a history of what PvE content drops how much ISK worth of loot overtime, for curiousity and information purposes.

For example, after 3 months, anyone can go to this website or whatever and see all the loot and ISK value that a certain level of combat anomaly or security mission dropped over time. Data and information from many players and many individual missions, with all identifiers removed and only showing loot received.

Lots of data. Like a public loot log or loot history of pve content for the entire game.

Eve Online developers might already have a system like this, but privately, where they can see, for example, how much loot Level 3 or 4 security missions are releasing into the game over time. Or how much millions of ISK worth of ore is being mined in high, low, and null sec, and wormhole space, which i think shows up in some sort of monthly economic information chart every month for all players to see.

I know people can already just record youtube videos of themselves doing PvE, and at the end show the loot that they got, but was wondering of a system thats built into the game, one that Eve Online developers might already have, but privately, to see how much money a specific type of content is releasing into the game, which is then modified and balanced or left alone.

FC tool - Export your loot history might help?

People can already do so and share loot records if they wanted.

But they can also keep the loot history private, which many players would do for many reasons. People may not want to tell everyone that another implant of type X has been looted, as this can be valuable intel when only one such implant could drop per day, which indicates the site has been done and that a player at that location now has loot worth billions even if their name as you suggest is anonymized.

The public existence of that loot drop already is identifying information.

It’s up to players how cooperative and open they wish to be about the information they gather.

I do not think this information should all be public or shared by default.

This one now.

Another way to log or record loot gotten from various activities, without downloading sus sussy baka files from github, would be to record yourself doing the activity using OBS Studio, and uploading the video to youtube.

Basically eve online gameplay videos.

Videos with titles like:

[ Eve Online - High sec mining for 1 hour - 1.5 mil in ore]
[ Eve Online - High sec combat anomaly - 500k isk, 2 mil loot ] (1 hour video)
etc
simple, unedited gameplay of eve online. no cuts. no fast forwards. no voice. no commentary. would be boring to some, entertaining to others.

and the isk value of loot received should be stated clearly in the title. no need to try to fast forward to the end to see how much isk of loot they got from the video of gameplay.
