Eve is the game that autists generally end up in. It doesn’t require a large time commitment… but you’ll find that the vast majority of players give up a great deal of their time.
The funny part is that it almost never starts that way.
You start playing, you’ve got your account and you think “man this game is fun!”. But you realize that off-grid boosts (not a thing anymore but a solid example) are useful, so you roll a boosting alt. And then you realize that ■■■■, I need a scout, so you roll another account.
Before you know it, you’ve got 15 accounts for various things. They’re spread across new eden. Every time you think you can relax, one of them needs interaction in some way.
That of course ignores meta commitments to things like alliance leadership. Our directors can spend literally days playing Eve without even logging into Eve.
Pretty good post except for one little thing. But that little thing irks me much more than it should.
Here it is. YOU DON’T ROLL AN ACCOUNT! By the same token, YOU DON’T ROLL A CHARACTER!
Create. You create the account. You create a character. This ain’t D&D. There are no dice rolls for account or character creation. There is nothing random to the creation. Never is and never was.
So you (the op) want easy money? Just invest personal cash. It won’t cost a lot depending how good you are. If you take heavy losses one month, fly cheaper until the next.
