Hello there, newbie here.
I have not explored industry at all yet, but wanted at least to give it a try.
To my greatest disappointment the Internet AI informed me that one can not manufacture spirits/liqueur, or similar luxury/hedonistic items. Boosters is the closest I guess.
The only other thing that might tick my box is implants.
The Internet AI informed me that you can manufacture implants, but only high end ones.
That is certainly interesting as cybernetics is a passion of my character (in EVE and RL).
I assume I would also be able to use them myself then, besides “maybe” selling?
That sound like something I would like to do.
But my question is, how easy/hard is it to do that by myself?
Until now I have only lived the solo life in EVE (If you don’t count getting one-shot when probe scanning clueless in a astero)
How much interaction which others (like joining a corp) do I need to do to be able to manufacture implants?
Can I even build and protect the structures that manufacture the implants without help, or protection of a corp?
Doing PVE and finding the BPC sounds like a good way to add some motivation and purpose in EVE if it also results in some shiny implants, so that part of it sounds fun.
I just want to know if it’s realistic for a solo player that honestly don’t have as much time as i wished to put into EVE, to have such lofty goals?
