Ship insurance is based on a time based average material cost for a reason, if ship insurance reflects the market price of any ship it will be abused to hell and back.

Or not bother at all, I haven’t insured a ship in years; I wouldn’t fly it if I wasn’t ok with it exploding.

I wasn’t aware that you can insure ships in a corp hangar, you learn something new everyday. :slight_smile:

Corp/alliance member limit drawbacks, limited number of blue/red, meaningful wars with purpose, cloaking is on a 5 min timer and has a 5% chance to fail every cycle at level V of whatever they call the skill, the jukebox back, declaring war costing 1 Billion ISK to start, a second Fedo-esque breed, oh and a reason to log in to do anything other than skill management…

Completely revamp Crimewatch and all of the recent high-sec war changes by implementing a meaningful system, including a special UI, for bounty-hunting and mercenary work.

Its just it appeared so funny to me when they did reiterate on everything thru years, and before reiterations there were people writing exactly the same things. Dont be sad, its not you, its me remembering those pleads before.

The core issue is that despite them making changes many times, they never actually implemented proper changes, or added anything meaningful. They never put in a bounty/kill right system that makes sense, for example. What kind of system makes the bounty hunter pay for a kill right, instead of allowing the bounty hunter to get paid instead? The current system can only be utilized in two ways: scamming other players, and self-claiming to remove the kill right. It’s nonsensical.

Wars have similarly been bastardized. Wars existed in an unchanged state until roughly the turn of the decade, when the Privateers started becoming an issue in CCP’s eyes. So they bounced back and forth between “okay wars are going to cost a lot now so that groups can’t blanket-dec everything!” and “actually, no, we’re going to make them cost less, to encourage smaller groups to do it instead of larger ones!”, but never actually worked on proper game mechanics for this feature. And in the end, things got even worse, with about 2-3 groups responsible for 95% of the wars today, because the only way to make this work from a player’s perspective, since wars are paradoxically both extremely easy to avoid while also being extremely disruptive, is to send out as many of them as you can to farm kills.

It doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t even feel that CCP is taking sides with any particular player groups, be they carebears or pirates. It feels like CCP just plain doesn’t care about this aspect of EVE entirely, and are just throwing ■■■■ at the wall to see if any of it will stick, and are doing it on a R&D budget of whatever they have in their pockets.
