Do POCO owners get information on when taxes are paid out and by whom? I moved my PI to LS and things are going great so far. The taxes are 1/3 per unit as much as I paid before. Only problem is I just realized the POCOs are owned by a holding corp of a pretty aggressive PVP corp. If they get “tax total paid this month” that’s fine but if they get “taxes paid by player A, time stamp, taxes paid by player B, time stamp, taxes paid by placer C, timestamp” I’m a bit worried the Nerus becomes a loot pinata since the time I pick it up becomes too predictable. And the closest route to a trade hub goes though 3 LS jumps, the safest route to anywhere in HS goes though those same jumps, and any alternative routes go through 10 or more LS systems, so if someone knows when I pick up the PI, it is really obvious which gate I leave by.
In a perfect game, high sec with all its bureaucracy they would have that information and maybe even more. Whereas NPC null having almost nothing, except a local ledger.
But, since you are aware some smart person in the accounting department might run the numbers and give that answer to the boss, in order to score points for the next promotion. You might want to vary your pickup times.
You also have as an option, blow up the POCO and place your own so you own that information.
Don’t you love EVE? What other game do you even have to pause and think about stuff like this?
Yes. Who, when, and where is visible in the corp wallet. I doubt that they will blow you up if you are a valuable customer that makes their pocos earn money instead of just being useless space junk.
You can see in the wallet of the holding corp every detail except what exactly you moved. So when, who, and where are answered, but not how (the ship) or what (the PI). However, a good indy director can somewhat deduct based on the given data what you are importing/exporting.
If it’s one of ours, we have standing orders not to blap haulers at our POCOs, as that would be missing the point of having them.
This is really the answer you – the OP – are looking for.
