anchorable bubble is totally fine, they NEED 2min to activate bubble, thats no big deal. the problem is the dictor require 0s activation time to instantly deploy bubble
and not every ship can counter bubble
you can counter bomber with higher HP, no way u can counter bubble with mods
Uhhhh, what?
I just killed a well fit Sabre with a cheap Algos, if you canât handle a lone interdictor, then stay out of nullsec until you learn how to properly fight.
you need to understand that not all ship entering nullsec able to warp away from 0s activation time bubble or able to do enough damage to kill sabre/dictor
but I know that all ship equipped with 2 WARP CORE stabilizer can counter a scram but 0 item can counter a insta-deployed bubble
There ya go, progression of sorts, but perhaps consider an alt scout in an interceptor and get your main in something that can kill shite and explore at the same time, Astero / Stratios
if you go into null, lowsec or WHâs you will be engaged, so why not fight back, who knows, you might become really good at it and never look back
have you considered trying a different route then? i travel in and out of nullsec several times a week, and I think iâve been caught by bubbles maybe 5 times at most. so if this is some sort of constant unending challenge for you every time you set foot in null. maybe your just going through the wrong systems.
No, YOU need to understand that its working as intended, ships are meant to die if you do stupid stuff with them. If you use the right ship for the right job, then you wont have many issues.
God I hate bubbles. Basically used by people whose reflexes not good enough to target a ship and press f1 (or whatever button scram is assigned too) before ship can warp away. Its rarely the sabre that kills you but his six mates just humping gate with bubble for easy kills. No solution that requires a second account (scout alt for example) should be an option. Bubbles should be anti capital ship modules. If you cannot target a ship and scram him before he warps off you either need to be awake or equip sensor boosters.
Bombers and dictors⌠one is further into specialized fleet role than the other. The dictor has one job, so it does it well. Bombers donât just bomb.
and I long for the day we see a âheavy bomberâ basically a Battle Cruiser that can fit multiple bomb launchers. Just think of the FUN!!!
Bubbles should not only be a anti-capital module, as they serve plenty of purposes. Regarding bubble in gatecamps⌠yeah, kind of stupid. Iâve done it on occasion and have to say itâs pretty stupid compared to a lowsec gatecamp, where you really need insta-lockers and all that. In Null you make sure your friends/alts stay outside the bubble and in case of any danger, the Sabre simply jumps through the gate after putting the bubble.
Anyhow, Iâm not for this proposal, for three reasons:
It doesnât serve the intent: OP suggests a delay - this wonât effect bubblecamps against people who donât use scouts, at best against cloaky sabres when using scouts (kind of redundant).
It doesnât make sense. The best way to evade a bubble after jumping in is to be MWD-fit and simply burn back to gate. (Cloak + MWD burn works as well). If the Sabres mates manage to lock you up and web you down before you crash gate, you wouldnât have managed to warp off in the first place, Dictor or not. Remember, a bubble is not a scram, itâs just a warp disruption sphere.
If you are funny and they canât indeed lock you while crashing gate, you can even provoke the Sabre to use up his 3 bubbles and when in reload, you come through a 4th time and warp off like a freaking champ.
It creates a lot of issues for pretty much ever other usecase. It will also make Nullsec safer, which is not good.
