Frankly, if there were any joint military projects going on, we’d be in a lot better position against the Triglavians, etc. It’s quite the opposite of what you’re saying, really: because the Four Empires are in this sort of cold war, though there are open hostilities between the Gallente/Caldari and Amarr/Minmatar, they’re afraid take offensive action against the Invasion, together or alone, because that might weaken their overall position in New Eden. CONCORD doesn’t count as “joint military” by the way- as the controlling body of the treaties that define New Eden’s current politics, including setting the rules for the two wars currently raging between the Gallente/Caldari and the Amarr/Minmatar, they’re basically an independent nation of space police responsible for keeping everyone else under some sort of control.
