Introducing CSM 19!

congraz to all the winners. Sad to see that no one that wants the arena back made it (I ended at 19).

Well, canā€™t say that Iā€™m surprised at the resultsā€¦

Anyway, grats to all the winnersā€¦

More importantly to all the Candidates who ran but didnā€™t make it this year, may you all have much more success next yearā€¦

The irony of a Frostpacker complaining about alts is priceless.

:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Did someone create more alts than you when voting this is why your Frostpiracy did not work trying to vote him into office? :smirk:

Condolences to all the winners. Looks like a pretty solid crew, and Iā€™m happy to see the Imperium ballot did so well this year. Probably our best turnout in years.

Oh look.

If not same names, itā€™s just the same groups pushing the same agendas as ordered by the same 4-5 people.

Same people making the game worse.

Kenneth Feld Industry is the worst the game has ever been in my 15 years. Iā€™d rather work my 8 hr day job than build anything in Eve Onlineā€¦ at least I get rewarded from it.

Sorry you didnā€™t get in Sir, I voted for you but thatā€™s how it goes.

We can see the same situation. 4 representors of Imperium, 3 of Pandafarm. The most team are from power blocks. We have also a Mick from NV WH Ally and several unknown names. i am sure that nothing will change in production, claim sov structures with this team. As for Mick - at least he can try.

Everyone can vote for the candidate what is the best for him but with this CSM team our game will slowly going to Serenity Chinese server situation. One big power to entire nullsec and some people in wh, lowsec and highsec and border systems.

Of course it is my and only my opinion. I am not voting for no one, the CSM is a myth,

If you are unhappy, all the more reason why you should vote!

So letā€™s say there are a total of 34,000 ballots. That means that in order to get elected, a candidate needs (34,000/10) + 1 = 3,401 votes.

If a null block casts 7,000 votes, that means they can get their #1 and #2 elected right away (assuming they all have the same ballot).

Now imagine that people are not happy with this and vote for nothing but non-block candidates and the total goes up to say 40,000 ballots. That means that a candidate now needs 4,001 votes to be elected and that block of 7,000 votes donā€™t have 2 elected right away but just 1.

The more votes that are cast, the smaller the influence of the big voting blocks get and the more likely it becomes that there is a CSM that is more to your liking. So by not voting, you play into the hands of organised blocks that do.

The name esplain the situation, Null block: more players and more Omega players that can vote and more alts voting.
This like David vs Goliath except this sitation Goliath has 6 arms, 4 legs and 2 heads.
Also, Null block not automatic bad for game. Null block always in CSM for 15 years: game not dead.

I never stated or suggested this is the case. I responded to something I hear and see every CSM election: people being unhappy about the result but not voting because they consider blocks to be too powerfull.

This means that they are contributing to the very thing they are unhappy with.

I not said you did, that why I said ā€œAlsoā€ it mean in addition as thought not related to what I write above.
Why would I say you write it when you did not write it??
