Introducing Exordium!

I hate this. I’m not asking 1.0 systems to be ungankable but it doesn’t need to be made easier. But hey at least they’re asking what we think unlike the SoCT ships where they made the change without even asking.

No, I expect to be there, matter of fact I think they mentioned me by name (along with K’shal) as being there doing what we do.

Yeah, I never said CCP was removing bloodlines…

I said CCP is removing the player’s ability to choose their character’s bloodline..

They aren’t doing that though…that is picked at character creation, right after picking your race. They didn’t say anything about changing the character creation, just where you spawn.

This will enable friends who pick different races to still be by each other to learn the game together instead of 532364 jumps away from each other. Each faction has their own mini space outside of manifest

What I’m talking about is highlighted in BOLD…

This has nothing to do with bloodlines…Spawn location yes, but not your bloodline (aka appearance)

Do you somehowthink you finish the NPE in character creation? You need a break, EvE is melting your brain.

He might be confused with how the game worked more than 16 years ago, where your bloodline affected starting skills and attributes, which were removed along side learning skills. Right now though, race and school affects your spawn location, but bloodline has not, at least not for 16+ years.

I hope Pearl Abyss licenses EVE to a company with a different vision for a different server, one more about “doing cool things in space” than the PvP emphasis that doomed Shadowbane, Darkfall, Mortal Online, Warhammer Online, Crowfall, and most of the similar MMOs.

You do realize ccp OWNS eve. PA cant sell eve lol or license it out

PA owns CCP. They can literally do whatever they want with EvE. They can even shitcan CCP and keep EvE. That’s what happens when you buy a company, you own all of that company’s stuff.

And yet, 23 years later, it’s still doing well and is getting more popular.

i think they implemented enough downsides to the zone so it s not very great to stay there for too long, especially if u only get t0 ores and even lower rewards from missions than they already are.

u do realize, if u remove multiboxing from the game u look at maybe 3k to 5k players?

It’s not getting more popular and it’s not doing well. It entered a terminal phase where even milking whales and multiboxers can’t keep up the appearance of a healthy game. But we as players don’t even see how bad it is… CCP does. That’s why they are taking drastic measures like adding a new safe region - something that was frowned upon by their devs for more than two decades.

And off course that they will officially push the story that everything is fine, because that’s how you run a business. You just don’t go in public and say that you are in trouble. The financial report might look fine, but if your profit is depending on just a relatively small amount of whales instead on organic number of individual players, you are walking on a razor thin line between profit and bankruptcy.

But the writing is on the wall… Just take a shuttle and travel through all four empires…. or even null. Many systems are desolate wastelands with you being the only one in local. Those systems that have some content usually have at least one multiboxer with 10, 20 or even 30 accounts all named after a pattern. Jita is starting to run out of some previously widely used items. Buying and fitting a ship in all other hubs can be a problem, especially if you want even a remotely useful DED space module or are looking for a simple T2 ship that isn’t “meta”. Those are not signs of success or a healthy game.

No matter how you want to divide the alts per player, the average pilots have been going up over time, not down.

Because there’s a big war out in null. This always happens, it’s a sign the game is working fine. If you want to make some isk manufacturing, there’s suddenly a niche for you to help fill.

The same could be said in 2009-2014. 8k systems is a lot, 5 players per system at the all time PCU, or 3 now, there are bound to be many empty systems. Alts existed back then too, although I do agree that skill farms have made it more possible.

Jita is running out of stuff due to coalitions buying up stuff to prevent the other side from easily resupplying from Jita when their industry structures get hit.

That’s not Eve…
