Obviously duels could be used to talk someone into losing their ship.
Exordium is protected newbie space, if you wish to duel you can go elsewhere.

Please add level 3 and 4 missions to exordoum. In fact add all other high sec content to it. Since all the systems are 1.0 the rewards could be lower and combat anomalies, signatures and asteroid respawn slower. So doing level 4 in 1.0 systems pays less isk, bounty and lp compared to doing level 4 in 0.9 and lower, so on so forth. Peace

Duels seems like a dumb concept to begin with. Who uses them? Iirc there is even a auto block duel setting. Thats how bad the feature is.

Yes, because “playing in peace” is not supposed to be an automatic granted thing in a PVP MMORPG and also was not a thing of the always communicated vision of EVE by CCP Wrangler:
EVE is a dark and harsh world, you’re supposed to feel a bit worried and slightly angry when you log in, you’re not supposed to feel like you’re logging in to a happy, happy, fluffy, fluffy lala land filled with fun and adventures, that’s what Hello Kitty online is for.
That doesn’t forbid that you play in peace, but it is not automatically granted. You have to work for it actively by thinking, planning and executing stuff to do it.

Your statement is equal to demanding chess be played with dice because you started playing it and didn’t like the amount of thinking required.
If you reread the statement of CCP Wrangler above again it might really be possible that you chose the wrong game to play. But since you only joined on May 8th, not much harm is done yet. You can easily find another game without PVP, ganking and other such hasslements.
