I see no one damaged by gambling. If you know how to control yourself gambling is fun. If you can’t then that is a you problem not a gambling problem.

Sorry friend but that is your problem, I wouldn’t spend my entire months salary on horse races. It is cruel but gambling does not lead to problems if one knows self control, we should be arguing about how to teach self control, not punish everyone because a few people don’t have it.

No, I’m the first one to attack the system and its many faults, but gambling is the least harmful vice there is. No one complains about alcohol, and its 10x worse than gambling. And to say that the poor are hurt by gambling is rude to them, I’m sure that there are many poor people who gamble occasionally who have no problems, and millionares that can’t stop hitting the roulette.

We have had some new gambling laws put in place in the UK where slot machines have to stop functioning for 10 minutes if it detects excessive use by a user. During this 10 minutes of inaction by law it is required to display messages about gambling awareness.
