in game actions are just that they are in game actions they dont carry any meaning irl. blowing you up with multiple people in game is something people brag about but if i throw a punch id be in jail… thats the facts right there in game its fair game irl its a no no

Clearly you don’t understand the difference between “valuing EVE highly” and “valuing the other people who play EVE”. Nobody is going to complain if you declare that you hate EVE and think it’s a terrible game. People are going to rightfully criticize you for proudly declaring that you see other players as nothing but NPCs and don’t care if someone is suffering from gambling addiction as long as you’re making ISK from them.

CCP might think this will be legal because the hypernodes don’t need to be bought for real life money however that is wrong.
They sell the cores for real life money on their website and the only purpose is for raffles, which are a form of gambling.
The items up for raffles have monetary value because they also can be bought directly from CCP on their website for real life money.
CCP purposely created a system in their business with the only purpose being to facilitate these online raffles.
By any definition of gambling in the United States that meets the requirements.
I assume CCP has no licenses and has not registered with legal authorities in the USA to offer this online raffle system.
Why did they not make the whole system doable solely with isk and not requiring things to be bought for real life money? Because they want our money.
CCP wants to create a real life money tax on the in game new eden economy.
