Sure, if you come to eve with the ONLY thing you want to do is fly titans. Then that might take a little longer.
But even that is not that bad, considering we have skill injectors.
I wish people who don’t know how to play eve, would stop spreading all this misinformation.
Look. Sure there are some activities that requires a bit more skills than others, which in turn means it takes more time to get into. But telling new players, they will never have fun or be useful because they can’t “catch up” to established players is just wrong.
I agree. But in other MMOs, how quickly can a player with concerted effort get up to “level cap” and start participating in “end game” content with the big shots? If someone unfamiliar with the game asked how long before they could fly the most powerful ship in the game, you would probably have to tell them “forget it”.
I wish people that ignore half the post they’re responding to for the obvious ploy their teeny tiny ego is forcing them into would learn how to forum without tolling.
Eve online is only fair to the people that do not cry over every problem
this game you have to swallow your own tears and sometimes eat a big helping of crap
EVE is just fine as it is, I am still having unlimited fun flying my damp- nerd T1 frigates on small gang/ fleet roams. A ten group of us caught a 350M cruiser just some time ago!!!
Reality is that big bully (big wardeccers) is always taking candy from a child (small, weak corporation). There are many small childs and few big bullies, still.
But as I wrote earlier, and what you didnt quoted, child can just leave and dont appear in the sandbox at all, or go somewhere alse and decide to get candy from some other people (other game), where are no such bullies.
Roman emperor? Dude, you’ll probably never see what the real world looks like more than a few miles outside your trailer park. At least you get to steal the neighbors WiFi or you’d be making babies with your cousin.
