okay guys I just captured a novice complex, and while capturing the second one, I died to a Tristan…
The weird thing is, I only got 1350 LP from capturing the site, unlike the 10000 as it promised on the wiki. any idea why?

If you capture a complex in a friendly-held system (“defensive plexing”), you receive a reduced reward based on how contested the system is. The formula for this is[12]:
LP reward = Base reward of complex * (Contested percentage of the system/100) * 0.75
This means capturing a complex in a friendly-held system will pay out, at most, 75% as much as capturing an equivalent complex in an enemy-held system, and the closer the system is to “stable”, the lower the reward.

Nothing stops them from returning fire with longbow fits, or attempting tackle runs anyway. Most importantly, nothing stops them from warping away if they are not pointed.

That is the payout for capturing sites in enemy systems. When you capture sites in friendly systems, the payout is reduced, because you do not have to destroy the NPC that guards the site.

TLDR: higher tier = higher profit. It’s also the most fun/hr (not that most people care about having fun in eve)

That’s likely. He probably let his drones wear you down enough that he thought he could kill you fast if he got close. I’m not good at fighting drone boats, so I don’t really have advice for you there.
But the thing is, Tristan only have 3 lot slots, so if he uses 1 for boosting his drone damage, he only has 2 low slots left for armor tanking. I deal kinetic damage and like 500 alpha, so in theory I should destroy him easily.
And he is using acolyte ii, which deals EM dmg, but I specifically fitted resist modules against EM, so shouldn’t it be very hard for him to kill me?

How come my kestrel only deals like 50 dps despite I already maxed out most missile skills and I have 2 ballistic control in low slots? are missiles naturally extremely low dps and high alpha? cause I have like 590 alpha.
edit: also why is worm so overpowered it is literally OP. it can kite and scram kite and web kite and it fits an insane tank and have drones???
Its hard to tell without posting your fit. And what do you have Caldari frigate skilled to?
Light missiles are somewhat lower damage, but I would expect you to have more than 50dps. Is that observed or in pyfa? Missile damage is modified downward by target speed and signature, so it’ll be somewhat situational. The type of ammo you use matters as well.
And yes, all the pirate frigates are pretty crazy, but the worm is over the top. I don’t actually see too many in minmil space, maybe because no one will fight them?
This is the fit I’m using now. since I expect to lose it very quickly, I made it cheap.
its arblast light missile launcher x4 with scourge, and ballistic control i. the rigs are all resistance for shields.
edit: any suggestions? should I sacrifice tank for damage and speed because I am kiting anyways? any mid slot modules to boost missile range or something?

guys I just attacked a gallente novice site and got like 15000 LP!!! im so happy I can now buy a hookbill!!! so excited to fly it!!!
but the question is, should I buy the hookbill and use it, or sell it to buy 5 more condor/kestrel?
edit: also is kestrel better for pvp or condor?
