In order for gankers to be able to warp at 0, they have to do their preparation. It’s only incompetent freighter pilots who don’t also do their own preparation; and that preparation makes hauling extremely safe.
Freighters even auto-pilot their way around highsec and get from A to B in one piece. How risky can it be when on many routes, you can generally do it without even being at the keyboard and you still end up where you wanted to go?
