you said it in the context of a stone competing with another stone
stones cant compete with eachother in a literal sense
but yeah its not pvp as a stone is not a lifeform
it is a resource

How then does me moving a cigarette butt 2cm over to occupy another space constitute PvP, when its not a person?
[/quote]depends how it affects other living beings
You seem to have not completed some simple stages in the concept of preservation of mass/volume etc when one for example pours from one container into one of a different shape, which usually children can at about age 5.
Im not surprised you cant grasp the difference between PvE and PvP, when you think Genghis Khan is still somehow engaged in PvP against all humans since, though he died hundreds of years ago.
at least i can back up my stance with examples of how peoples actions affect people after the event
you dont seem to be able to back up your stance at all
just asking a lot of weird questions
Lets say the player that left EVE 10yrs ago, did so because he died suddenly IRL. He was cremated and his ashes thrown off a cliff at his favorite spot to the winds.
Is he still involved in EVE PvP 10 yrs after his death?
i dont wanna go there but maybe consider the actions of a certain player with initials vr
and how his actions may have had an influence on the political circumstances of the game today
well it doesnt
try reading the rest of the post and understand why i dont wanna go there
because its a personal issue for many people and i dont wanna offend or disrespect
This topic is pointless to debate, PvP fanatics will combine every single aspect of this game into one lump in order to justify saying that everything in this game is PvP, regardless if your actions have no effect on any other player. Hell, according to them not logging into the game is also PvP since that act still effects the economy in-game.
its a well known strategy for goons to discourage players from logging in to make wars easier for them
remember the war against test
part of their strategy was to try and make the game so unenjoyable for test members that they would leave the alliance or not log in
