Not really. Like I said, treating PvP as a business venture doesn’t preclude you from doing other things, like PvE and industry. And if everyone tried to do it, then that would mean that some wouldn’t be successful, in contrast to what’s happening now, where the field is so scarcely populated that most who do go into mercenary/pirate-oriented activities find some degree of success.

Okay, now I get it. You don’t mean that PvE employment is wrong per se, but that PvP can also be financed by PvP at the moment.
Precisely. I have no issues with anything PvE-related (well, aside from AFK-mining and botting).

Blasphemy! But I concede to the lovely lady that all people should not drive classic hot rods. 
As far as NPC stations going away, for once and only once, I seem to have won EVE a 2nd time! All my crap that I packed up/loaded into jump ships and orccas paid off in that none of it is in the way of a Trig invasion’s!

That is an excellent point you raised there. PvP should be viewed as a source of profit, which I do bolive most of (so called) PvP players do not get. Shooting a transport hauling a few bill cargo= legit,
Blowing up exploration ship after it cleans a site= legit…
But sacrificing 100 mill stealth bomber to suicide gank a 30 mill covetor in HS is simply stupid…

The OP mentioned high-sec. There are missions agents in lo-sec. No issues.
