it would still does not make much sense to do that
I think the Trigs will become another NPC Faction with Agents in those systems offering missions to Kybernauts. Access to those systems will be done through an Abyssal Space Nexus that connects the Trig systems all together.
The stronk can leave when they want.
I like this idea hopeful they do something cool like that
it would be like a WH but with a trig twist to it
Yeah, the Abyssal Space Nexus would be like a giant w-hole with a bunch of different connections leading to the various Trig systems.
I think by far this would be the best followup maybe with some WH system invasions to mix things up
I do a combination of all of that. There are times I cannot do something so I jump on another thing. Thereās always something to do in New Eden.
if you had to chose between PVP or PVE which one would you do and why?
to me:
PvP fun but expensiveā¦
PvE not so much fun but at least making an income to later blow up in PvP
I play online games expressly because I donāt have to choose. Most of them give you both. I like both PvP and PvE. I also like offline single-player games so youāre really asking the wrong guy.
If it ever comes down to where I have to choose then Iād go back to playing offline single-player games.
Oh good idea, have the random Invasions spawn Drifters who blockade various Trig system connections in the Abyssal Space Nexus. Kybernauts would have to defeat the Drifters in order to keep the Nexus connections open.
Try approaching the game from a different perspective. Treat PvP as a profit-making opportunity. Iām not talking about suicide-ganking (although you could if you wanted to). PvP should be a tool you use to achieve some kind of greater goal, not a goal in itself. In my opinion, people who grind money in PvE to go and āspendā it in PvP kind of miss the point.
You might discover a whole set of experiences you never thought possible. I did.
make money with pvp??? how?? teach me master ^^
Violence, or the threat of, is a necessary part of many financial transactions in EVE. Youāll have to learn how to fight on your own (although feel free to ask questions, and I and other players like myself will give you tips). You can always try the old classic move of catching someone in a belt and ransoming them, although I wouldnāt spend too much time on that these days - the game has really changed from when this was truly viable. Maybe doing it to a wormhole hacking site runner would work better these days? I havenāt tried.
But if you, for example, learn the art of harassment, you could do something like camping out in some groupās wormhole (make sure itās not a dedicated WH PvP outfit, though), and make their lives miserable until they pay you to go away. The first time might take a while, and the price you command might be small, but youāll gain experience, and will avoid making mistakes and wasteful moves in follow-up attempts.
You can also hunt for weak targets, and ransom their stations. Or sit on a gate somewhere and snipe traffic. Lots of ideas.
And it goes without saying that this is best done with other like-minded players, so look for a suitable group.
can we talk in-game or discord ?
Mail me any time, Iāll respond when Iām on. You can also find me on Archerās Discord, although I donāt go there much anymore because he revoked my right to post anime girls.
u got link to discord ?
fixed
how would it work if everyone expected profit only from pvp, where would it all come from, how would the purchase of goods (of thin air?) work when your ship goes booom?
There must be production and destruction, and in between, liquid assets called currency.
Itās not a thing most people do or even think about doing, so itās able to exist as a fringe activity/approach to the game. Also, it doesnāt preclude you from doing other things at the same time, such as engaging in more traditional game activities.
