Is it worth joining if i only have about 2 hours a day to play?

I usually log on, run+salvage a level 4, then reproc and sell loot, salvage, and materials. That’s about all i can do before i have to go to work or go to sleep.

I’d kind of like to join up, even if im only helping by generating taxes. I’d also dig helping out by providing salvage and materials. I have almost no pvp experience even though I’ve been playing on and off since 2002 or so.

Last year i tried FW, but it was mostly waiting around for most of the limited time i have. If I’m going to get into pvp, I’d like to learn to fly ewar, because I’m 100% Caldari missile ships. I could also do bomber or fly scout again(did that a looong time ago). Hell, I’d also be happy collecting salvage for the group.

14 or 15 years ago, i really liked living in WH space, i could get into that again or null. I used to run sleeper sites in a drake and then pass the proceeds on to the corp i was in.

If possible, I’d prefer to join an alliance so i can keep my characters in my little one man corp. An alliance that doesn’t take everything too seriously would be great. I could also get into salt mining. I’ve heard Goons might fit my bill.

There are activities that you can engage in with only 2 hours of play time per day. Exploration, missions, trading, frigate PVP in FW space, local chat banter.

Right. What I’m asking is if it’s worth it to an Alliance to have me join if that’s the bulk of what i can do.

@Obed_Marshh ,

So I have been in your position and joining an alliance to be in null is definitely worth it.

I suggest brave as they were great both times i joined with zero expectations other than be in a standing fleet while online.

With your 2x hour window you have, you easily:

  1. Join a roaming fleet,
  2. Attend a class for ewar,
  3. Do some ratting (you can easily get a dreadnought when jumping through astroid belts),
  4. Join a mining fleet for boost.
  5. Do some pi

The big alliances have their own trade hubs in null, so you don’t need to leave null. But if you do, jump bridges make the paths to hs quick enough.
