Long time Eve player first time poster. I live in non-sovereign null and have done for many years with a small group of independants. Mostly indys, miners and PI folks. Over the last six months, every athanor in our reachable space has been killed and replaced by a big block metanox. Even the r64 moons. In the past when big groups killed our Athanors, we could still ninja mine and enjoy hunting their fleets. Now it’s all gone. Used to love a quiet mine while socailising with fleet. Porps out, boosting away. Now they languish in station. Sad 
Is the Metanox killing fleet mining? Have all those fabulous asteroid graphics overhauls and mining changes been wasted?
Yes. Null sec and lowsec players don’t want to mine. They want free ISK.
That was waste from the start. Only very small minority cares about graphic. Perhaps it was supposed to bring new players, which isn’t that riddiculous idea, but it failed anyway.
Bring back AFK mining. Really big roids where you can just activate the lasers and wait until your cargohold is full.
^But thats how moon mining should work. You extract one really big roid and then everyone show up to mine it. Best part is you just activate your lasers and hang out with fleet. Dont need to micro manage lasers or anything
