Note: If I do buy 100 handbags at $9 each and make the faux Gucci logo for another dollar. I should get $500 each on Etsy, $49,000 profit. I should get my sister to work on this with me to double my production time. Then if the authorities come knocking, I can throw my sister under the bus.

Selling knock-off copies, or counterfeit goods, can lead to serious penalties in California. Penalties can include up to one year in county jail and fines up to $10,000 for misdemeanors, or up to three years in state prison and fines up to $500,000 for felonies, depending on the quantity and value of the goods involved.
What I find really screwed up (without divulging my state); I would get only 1 year in jail for killing someone with my car. Assuming I can convince them it was an accident, and a maximum of 10 years, if they prove I was deliberate. But California will toss you in prison for 3 years for selling idiots garbage.
Apparently some places consider killing people a slap on the hands, when compared to stealing their money.

Sounds like a waste of effort. They got what they wanted- destruction in null sec. It’s what everyone craves in null. It’s why they go there.
Besides- didn’t they simply retreat over and over and over letting structure after structure go completely undefended? And then when they had no more room to retreat, the leadership took all the capitals they could carry and fled to never be seen again. Fitting end to a mega corp and a shiny example of what’s wrong with them.

No. I understood, back in the late 70’s my kid sister racked up a line of credit when Columbia House gave here a mess of albums for one penny. They were scamming people with the offer of a lot of records for just one penny and the fine print read, for joining the club and buying 2 more records per month at full price. When she defaulted on the terms, they were notified she was 15 and not a legal adult. Thus not bound by their contractual terms. Obviously I knew about the legal loophole.
I was stating the legal penalties for adults. I have read somewhere in the forum @Princess_Rose_Ivory has a grand child, and I assume her sister is probably over 18 as well? I was pointing out how the laws are easy on murder and harder on larceny. Unless you kill a rich man they just don’t seem to care. Rob a rich man and you are public enemy number one.
