I doubt anyone hasn’t heard of Pandemic Horde or Goonswarm. However to clue in new players in the audience or @Gealbhan those with their head under a rock;
Both Pandemic Horde and Goonswarm are huge mega corps out in null space that fight over turf. Pandemic Horde lost a siege and well… a lot people grabbed their assets and ran. Apparently this won’t affect me in the least. But there is some unclaimed turf now out in null.

Do you think that these people will ever feel bad about what they did? They betrayed thousands of people that trusted them. They were trusted so much, that even in the final desparate moments of the siege, their people were still willing to die for them. These guys were worshipped like gods.
And they sacrificed it all. A bond that they will never experience again. All of that, for a handful of baubles and toys. Hahahaha!!

It’s just a cycle. Goons also was defeated in the past and was kicked out of delve but they regroup and defeated Pandemic Horde in this timeline. RIP to the former leaders of goons and pandemic. May they punch each other in real life.
Anyone who can afford to lose 245bn in a shuttle is way more ‘up’ than 99% of the players in EVE.
Frankly, I am not that stupid, to put everything in one shuttle to flee. I would have at least used Pochven as a transit escape route. Assuming they didn’t get blasted exiting the station, I would have warped to a moon used a filament and docked and dumped at any Pochven NPC station.
Or am I unaware of something else stopping them? Asset safety work for them? I don’t live out in null.

If you include the PanFam coalition, the number is well over 15,000. I agree with @Aiko_Danuja, @Gobbins and Vily should have to face the music publicly.
All they had to do was engage with their titans on the 1st day, and we’d be laughing at the Goons instead.
