I’m going to be out of town next week, but would still really like an opportunity to purchase some of the one-day-only reduced price skins (or at least see which ones are for sale on a given day). Is there a way to do that, or do you have to be logged into the client?

I believe the NES can only be accessed in-game.
Since you’ll be gone with no access to the game, probably the best option is to make a list of stuff and have a trusted corpmate or friend pick up the items and contract them to you.

Ask a friend to buy them for you and trust him with your ISK.
If you can’t do that, then you’re doing it wrong.
