Sliding by after a few years hiatus to see how EVE is goin, every other post is people quitting or raging about the games direction. What is the main factor causing all of the uproar? Find it hard to believe that it’s just the chat bubble thing.

The main reasons are useless changes to systems that work just to accommodate some dumb newbs while other areas of the game are in dire need of fixing, improving, balancing. CCP wastes their “precious and expensive” (their words) development time on introducing chat bubbles, more skins, breaking ship balance, breaking the agent finder, curating and censoring content (the agency), delivering subpar quality and features as finished, starting to work on features and then leaving them unfinished and unusable, while still forcing them on people every other patch (the beta map, which is, according to CCP’s last big blog on it from 2016) not a beta any more), while EVE desperately needs at least 3 more Crucible like expansions to fix old issues and new issues that CCP introduced recently. And CCP ignores (whether it’s devs or management level is unclear) feedback from players given to them weeks ago, and just start raising issues, that were reported to them weeks ago, to the teams when they released the patch.
I have probably missed some things, but the general drift should be clear.
Edit: Funny. I just received a mail titled “Access content with The Agency”, while the agency in fact hides content, makes it harder to find content, and withholds content from you.

Just one point… Patch was released on Tuesday. Generally the rage/complaining is strongest right after. This is not to say I support, condone or share an opinion for or against any of the issues. I have just generally found that right after a patch is when you will see the largest amount of aggravation displayed towards any game company.

There’s not much to be optimistic about. For every year an issue remain unaddressed (like faction warfare), optimism falls. But there’s always new competing games coming out every day. I’m still waiting tiercide to finish.

Everywhere you go, if there is another person to hear it, you will hear whining, pissing and moaning over something. In fact you will eventually hear every opinion, many of which are diametrically opposed to each other, argued over and over again simply because they are there to argue about.

Didn’t CCP say they were going to bring back the big mega expansions and still keep the 6 week release patch for fixing bugs?
I could have sworn I saw it in a Dev Blog, back a while ago.

In my opinion, the Skyfall expansion should have implemented all good advices, offered on this forum by players + redesigned planets like current stars. True, planets are only space objects which make EVE to look like so outdated.
Moreover, let’s put some propaganda pepper here. It can have a new SOV mechanic for easy conquering, considering the Delve fortifying positions in a hurry…
