So, essentially, taking the scenario above - the system is wholly reliant on members flagging as many posts as possible in order to try and alert ‘someone’ in CCP that ISD might not be doing their job? That’s pretty poor…

It’s like you’re trolling, I feel these posts of yours need to be flagged for exactly that. But I won’t, because that would be childish and would just create extra work for the ISD.

It could be tested you know - someone could create an alt and copy the antics of one or two of our favourite (and obviously mature by your standards) trolls and tell people to f-off and leave the game at every turn - might be interesting to see if they are treated any differently by moderators - better still if 10 people created 10 alts and did the same thing - because obviously that type of behaviour is just fine…

You keep pointing at how others make horrible posts, in your eyes, and how that somehow makes it ok for you to be a troll. Focus on your own actions and choices, stop using others as excuse for your poor choices.

So, my comments in this thread have entirely been set out to challenge whether or not the antics of certain trolls are acceptable to ISD/CCP - given they have not stopped (or been stopped), I assume it is considered ok, even encouraged.
Now, I’m actually fine with that, as long as ISD/CCP come clean that they too are fine with that type of behaviour.
However, ISD/CCP have not clearly stated they are (although lack of moderation might be considered evidence in support) - So I’ve had to slowly tease information out of them with the intention of them actually responding to the question:
Are they happy for forum members to tell others to f-off and leave the game? If, not why have they not dealt with those that do exactly that?

Outside of that, my own trolling is rather limited and poor - although the red dots really do trigger my OCD… grr…
What if the honest and right answer to someone who’s deeply in disagreement what EVE is, and has been, to actually leave instead of incessantly whining thread after thread?
What’s worse?
Someone clinging to a game they dislike the base ideas of and create thread after thread, reply after reply sticking to the same false truths and concepts and by that completely messing up the forums and making any sort of actual and honest discussion impossible, as they hijack every thread into terribleness.
Or the person who tells them that if they disagree SO much with the game and its developers they should stop playing, stop being a problem and get lost.
