You should not remove the Agent Finder. I don’t see the R&D agents on the Agency window. The agent finder is a very efficient tool, whereas the Agency Window is limited in its capabilities in comparison. While I understand that you are trying to make the game more friendly to the Alphas, you really should not remove the greater functionality of existing tools. The Alpha’s who need the Agency Window, and other simplifications do not seem the likely sorts to remain in this universe and actually pay you for Omega status.

It would be nice if people would stop using the Alpha/Omega reason for this.

the reason CCP is making the change is to piss all of us off.
CCP has a history of replacing mostly functional windows with half baked and broken pieces of filth.

If CCP hasn’t gotten the idea they need to keep the agent finder and journal for a time more while they work on this - bloat ware - than they will have to do with a lot more players who use.

One of the major problems is probably CCP metrics - how many people run missions who used the agency to find that agent (hub) and have never left it. They don’t end up needing the agent finder as much. They don’t probably use the LP journal much, as they can just look at the LP store, seeing as they they only ever run for one faction/corp.

I don’t think CCP will listen to us, they haven’t listened to us for a long time. Once again, we will get crapware with the glimmer of hope they will fix it someday. While what will really happen is we all get a box of gummy penises. If we want to keep the useful tools, we are going to need a lot more than 40+ post on it.

Haven’t found a way to find / filter storyline agents.

Corp Filter set on NPC station’s corp: Finds only one agent in my current station, when 3 are available to me.

Corp Filter set on Any Corp: Does not display any agents of current station i’m docked in on the first page. Furthermore, the displayed sort order is not strictly by distance.

Need a way to lock the built-in starmap to a flat / fixed orientation.

Agree with other posters here: keep current agent finder, while tweaking this feature through the next release.

If we want to keep the useful tools, we are going to need a lot more than 40+ post on it.

We’ve had 40 page threadnoughts in the past that CCP stated they simply didn’t believe us, and thusly deliberately chose to ignore all the feedback given. This is a habitual thing CCP does, and unfortunately it drives those who were willing to give their time to give feedback away since CCP will do whatever the crap they want to do regardless of how crappy of a product they are giving us. I’m one of them. I guess it was CCP’s way of eliminating the voices against their desires…so then they will be able to say that there were that many people complaining about it so its all good.

Its a fact of EVE life now, CCP puts out crap, ignores most of the feedback saying its crap while hoping the negative voices eventually give up, then says everything is fine because the number of complaints is lower.

CCP, this new feature doesn’t even remotely have the same functionality. Please don’t do this. Just simply look at all the use cases that have been presented to you and you can see that you are in the wrong and need to fix your crap.

While I like the UI and map integration of the agency, removing the journal just creates confusion to new players. Most players who start EVE come from other games MMOs, alpha steam games and such and one thing that has been a staple has been journal. When I started EVE and saw a journal I didn’t need to ask or read online or watch a video, I knew it’s purpose immediately because I had played other games that calls it a journal as well. By removing it and basically calling it The Agency is counter intuitive. Honestly, I like the way it is now, I wouldn’t want to see The Agency overburdened with access. When most people think The Agency, they think in make events or NPC agents, I certainly do.
