The undock at Jita is worse than traveling in low sec space, it’s like one of those carnival booths where people sit there and take pot-shots at targets that pop up.

Jita became the trade hub, in part, because that system had so many manufacturing slots. CCP got rid of manufacturing slots. Perhaps, with time, people will move somewhere more sensible. Someplace nice and central. Like Ikao, for example.

And yes, I know that Jita hasn’t always been the main trading hub, although it has been the main trading hub for as long as I’ve been around. There’s one thing I do know however, and that is that the Jita station has always been around and will stay around, unlike the TTT.
I don’t often trade in high sec, but if I do, everything is available in Jita and only certain items are available in Perimeter. So if I don’t care that I’m paying a bit more in Jita, instead of going to Perimeter to see that the item I need isn’t available, please don’t act like I’m wrong.
You may be right about the undock of Jita being dangerous. People do get killed there if they don’t take the proper precautions. However, I rarely undock there in anything but quick aligning ships that fly towards my insta-undock bookmark and haven’t been ganked yet… unlike when I was travelling in low sec.
I shop both but yeah 4×4 is a drag undocking because of traffic.
Perimeter sucks for selling even under Jita price. I seeded pretty much the entire t2 market in the ttt at under Jita and it took 10x longer to move than Jita some of it still has not sold despite being under Jita.
I use the TTT for buy orders, Jita for sell.
As Hilmarton said the Eve community is extremely risk averse. Npc broker fee’s are at 3%. I propose moving Jita NPC to 10% and using 7% to buy back confiscated plex and put it into plex for good.
If you have everything T-2 on sale I would jump over to buy, the only reason I wouldn’t is because I produce most T-2 myself, but believe me as a consumer I buy cheaper if I find it within 2 or 3 jumps max.
Buy orders in TTT.
Sell orders in Jita.

Also, ‘30% more’ sounds like a huge amount, but if it’s 30% more of a small amount of ISK I basically ignore already, 30% more of almost nothing is still nothing. It’s not like I’m trying to make money on the market, I use the market to get what I need and make my ISK elsewhere in EVE.
Sure, for sales going into the hundreds of millions of ISK I’ll fly to the TTT. But don’t tell me I should fly to Perimeter to save 10k ISK.

I would, if CCP could enforce a minimum delay between setting the tax value and it actually changing. And increased the part of tax that goes to the game, something like minimum player tax = 2%, concord tax = 100% of player tax. Also if the ESI would take into account the SO from TTT in theforge market.
I don’t care if the price is higher. I just set my price according to the benefit I want to do, so the taxes are … just a part of the equation.
Learn to play the game. Insta dock and undock have been a thing for a while now.
I use them in every hub and I tell you, one they are very convenient, two jita is not worse than hek with instas.
Because no one will make extra jump to get nothing extra while everything he needs can buy in one place.
The difference between Jita and TTT is only for seler because he is paying tax. Not guy that instant buy and pay nothing extra. And there is no way to seed everything in TTT.
