Same issues for me, also on deutsche telekom (lte), packet loss rate 15-20%, response time 60-80ms, no other issues, ping time to www.heise.de (exmaple) 25-30 ms, zero packet loss.

Getting really frustrated over here with a ignoring support on both ends, provider as well as CCP.
Sometimes im asking myself why support even exists?

its definitly an inter provider routing problem from my point of view/tests. from my computer at home (telecom) i got 50-70 ms to the game server ms ping rate and heavy packets losses. if i connect to a company Server (rdp) also in germany i got 20-30 ms to the game server (dokom). if have no packet losses to my company server. i think there are no problems with the content server to the laucher tests show no problems.

from my point of view the only option i have is to make an eve break for some month and check again after, i switch form lte to dsl in 14 days but its also telecom so i dont expect any changes.

PS: this is not ccp’s fault, the only thing they can do on their site is to speak with the provider to contact telecom or some other intermediate provider to look for the problem, but i think nobody realy cars about this on the provider site.

Problem is with ip4.gtt.net ( 46.33.85.78 ).
1 hop from server srv200-c.ccp.cc ( 87.237.34.200 ).

No problem in morning ,but in the afternoon & evening 5-15% packet loss.
If your route goes thru *.gtt.net ( american low cost provider) then try using VPN.
This problem with ip4.gtt.net is (at least for me) about 6 weeks old.

I did try to file a ticket,but ticket system is buged.I got loged off before i can finish ticket.
If CCP wants more players to stay in Eve ,first they need to get routing & ticket system working.
Perhaps Aura can teach new players how to set up VPN & avoid bad enters ( ip4.gtt.net ) to game.

It appears that, at least for me, the issue with ip4.gtt.net is gone. Performance went down during the day and I switched to a VPN connection. Now after a break I retried it without VPN and had no packet loss since one hour now at prime time. Even the ping is a bit better (was already good before).

So finger crossed that this is not just a temporary thing

Something has happed today, i got 50-60 ms response times but no packet loss atm using the telecom link.

But there is still a lot room for improvement on the telecom / ccp link. I compared the different telecom connections of our company (leased line, lte) to another isp’s leaded line. Telecom ping is at 55-65 ms range, the other isp is 25 ms at nearly the geografical same location

So because there was no reply on the Telekom Forum I tweeted at them and I got an answer


Apparently they are not responsible for it and can’t do anything so the questin is who can? Neither CCP nor the ISP feels responsible yet the service is bad
 My support ticket with ccp regarding the issue didn’t get an answer for almost two weeks btw


I am using a VPN for now since it fixes the issue, this is not a permanent solution though because some services like netflix don’t always work with vpn

Yea that is what they said. I got no further response so far trying to reach out via email to the ISP and also still no response from ccp on my own ticket


Meanwhile the problem is still there and eve is basically unplayable without VPN.
