If you are a buyer and buy all the tickets. In the end you gain an item that is worth less than the price of the tickets. Therefore the sum of the gain from the buyers is negative ie they are losing.
Sure there is a chance to be the winner. Does not mean the buyers are playing at win. They are playing at loss. The best way to gain money in chance game, is to be the casino. Otherwise, itās to not play.
