Haven’t been on the game so I don’t know when they did the Launcher update. In short, I have no fonts. I am still running it the same as before, straight Wine 10.4 no steam. I can launch the game but all the launcher’s fonts just do not exist. Client fonts are still there, so it is playable.
I am still running the same hardware and software, nothing changed on my end. I will play with it later today, see if I need to drop a font tweak on it from winetricks.
That was it, the corefonts seem to be gone or maybe the launcher update messed with the registry. Only CCP knows for sure. If you experience no font face on the launcher just run;
$ winetricks corefonts

I just posted a upgrade for lutris proton in the Linux section here. Follow the instructions and it will rise again 
No the system updated the launcher and the fonts just vanished. Without knowing what exactly caused the font package to be removed, I assume it was the update to the launcher. As stated above, this didn’t make the client unplayable. All I did to restore the core fonts was the winetricks terminal command posted above.
Yesterday, I noticed another minor visual issue with the alpha textures within the client. I am currently looking into this visual issue, where the explosions transparent parts appear as opaque black instead. This will probably be an issue with the recent graphics changes made to the game and probably need to be addressed in a separate thread.
I am currently running Manjaro OS ( Arch Linux ), no Steam, no Lutris, straight Wine version 10.4. But thanks all the same, don’t want to muddy the water with additional launchers.
