Launcher Profile management?

Hi,
How do you copy a profile in the new launcher?
I can’t find it.
I can make a new one, but it starts everything from scratch, and that is a LOT of work to get everything set correctly again.

I do not think you can do it in the launcher itself.

How you can do it:

  1. Find your settings folder. For me it’s under

C:\Users\usernamehere\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_ccp_eve_online_tq_tranquility

  1. Copy the profile you want to copy (I just made settings_CopyofDefault as a copy of my Default profile):

  2. Open your launcher. You will see a new profile appear with the name you wrote behind ‘settings_’:

The new profile will be a copy of the profile you used as base.

Fun fact: not only can you copy profiles this way, these same settings folders can also be copied between characters and accounts if you wish to share UI between multiple characters and accounts.

Sad that i have to do it this way now, you used to be able to do it with 2 clicks in the old launcher.

Thanks, though, at least there is a way.

I have to make a thread sometime about the “lost features” of the old launcher.
