I think because of this thread @Ogun_Ferraille is obligated to make an at least 50 second long song video with the title “like” and post it on youtube.

@Ogun_Ferraille You could certainly make your new pilot look like a clown, CCP has added face paint to the NES for that purpose.

Sometimes if you like a thread comment on the one of the many threads found then you can redact that like within a certain time frame.
My guess two minutes though could be longer.
In any case if you find your pilot is running out of likes on the forum then perhaps try to refrain from spending all of your likes on comments that really should not had received a like by anyone in the first place.
