But that’s not going to ‘control’ that space. At most, that’ll put us competing with the big HS mining fleets that bot themselves along right after DT. Really, it’s not even worth the annoyance just to get crappy ores.
Probably to give CCP an idea how people respond. Which patterns of behavior does this change disrupt? What patterns re-emerge when it stabilizes, which ones stay disrupted? Who starts doing what? Who stops doing what? Do people get more active for shorter periods? Do they just not get active? Do people actively hunting through space amount to a hill of beans?
‘What data’ is simple: ‘What happens if I do this?’
Anything Falcon says will be taken as official. It’s unavoidable, because even when he’s off the clock, anything he says as ‘CCP Falcon’ is being said as a representative of CCP.
I’ve been in the game relatively recently, I just moved to sector zero, and there’s such a change, I’m having a problem, I can never play this game anymore.
Whether I want to pay, for these changes, no. CCP will have to lure me, than the more interesting.
These changes aren’t that bad.
What’s sad is the number of players that never got taught or learnt how to use DSCAN.
This tools been around ages, it was a required tool to learn, but with the titan shield many never bothered.
I swear they should give out medals for forum warriors like yourself.
Hey you can always make one in game and award it to us.
Its a hard job, but someone’s gotta catch em all.
So, I’ve found this to be typical.
This is one of the biggest changes to the game that I’ve seen since starting to play in 2011, and if people try to voice negativity to it they get shouted down and ridiculed by the players who obvious gain advantages by the change.
Note that at this point I am not voicing my opinion about the game change one way or the other, but I am truly frustrated by the response of players to others providing an opinion that they don’t agree with.
This is a game, people, not American politics. Stop shouting down people that disagree with you and hear them out.
Yeah, I agree 100%.
ZZZEEERRRRGGG BECAUSE
apparently people think you have THAT many numbers lol
i man goons are big
and can be blobby
but goons dont have nearly enough members that want constant ops to control all space
and even less that really want too
you have a few bad members
a few good
id rather roam delve pre blackout looking for fair fight - so that speaks volumes about the rest of eve really huh
but still grr gons hat
because metagame 2 stronk
well, when a bird flies south for the winter
but people scream NORTH!!
do you attempt to educate them in their folly?
or simply allow them to infect others with … que… incorrect facts?
If they are going to have blackout then the pvpers should not be able to look at a space map and view the numbers of players online in a system in null sec either.
You got to remember they are handing out free skill injectors so your number online are already skewed for this week alone.
Also, instead of @Arrendis and whoever defending CCP, CCP needs to grow some balls and explain/defend their idea in full behind this damn blackout, including the data they are looking to collect
its amusing you think the ‘pvpers’ actually do this as much as you think.
So I’ve found it to be typical that some people like to blather on ad nauseam on things where it is unlikely any new perspectives will be presented…
Far be it from me to be displeasing to you! By all means, please do continue this scream-impotently-into-the-void therapy highly interesting and informative thread.
its simple.
nullsec with its various intel channeling and supercap umbrellas has become static, stagnant and boring; filled with people like yourself that undock for nothing except the ISK and any time even a remote danger approaches you dock, and either log or afk because you have no real interest in the game other than what highsec mission running really offered you when you started.
IF
YOU
WANT
SAFETY
highsec is the place you should be.
Skill points mean basically nothing once you know the game and have a few on standby; however - sp give aways i think are needed for newer players.
Literally i could tear up a nub corp with a week old or less toon - one of the reasons i would have sp based wardecs . yeh ure i an tear them up with less than 250k sp… but its not 150 mil sp with 3 lgi alts at 80 mil sp each - theres a chance, a big chance; that if they pulled together…
i dont want to play a game on cheat mode
i want to occupy my mind
and yeh sure sometimes im gonna bitch and moan at you in local if you win
u get to link my km
i get to moan at your underhanded dirty trickery!!
As explained in the Imperium article, all of us in sov null and probably NPC null, we have plenty of reasons to fight each other and dont need CCP to tell us when to fight or to force us to fight. Or to tells us when to undock or give us a reason to undock. Every corp, every alliance, every coalition has a target (usually more than one), so when forces are ready to go, when command gives the order, there will be a fight
you dont fight each other lmfao
waiting for two or three hours to form up for a timer isnt really pvp ‘dude’
you dont fight
your a fish
waiting in the school of fish hoping you wont get picked off.
if i said that before any mma fight honestly… gtfo
Let me teach you about a game called chess…
